Lacy Sunshine Challenge #7

Time for a new challenge over at Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog and the theme this time is Monochrome - any two colours + skin & hair colours.

My DT card is using another of Heather's fab Gnomes of Gnarly Wood digi's only available from The Lacy Sunshine Shop.

Meet Finkle Cycling!

Finkle was coloured with copics. I've used papers and card from my overflowing scraps box and a couple of buttons from my stash! I decided to keep this card quite simple. I used tumbled glass distress ink pad and smudged it around the edges of the top of the image to give a feeling of the sky in the background. Used my usual pearls on the corners.I used the cool greys in the colouring to keep in line with the blues.

Copics used:- E000, E00, E11, E23, E25, E27, B0000, B000, B01, B02, B04, B60, B63, B66, C1, C3, C5.

Thanks for stopping by and why not go and take a look at the other Sunshine Girl's blogs for some more inspiration. Good luck with your entries for the challenge, can't wait to see them.

Sky Lynn

Here's a card using Sky Lynn, another of Heathers Valentin's digi's available in her Lacy Sunshine shop.

Its hard to have a favourite from all of Heather's digi's but Sky Lynn is definately one of them!

I used Distress Inks Festive Berries blended around the edges of the card. Red and black cards for the layering and a black and white patterned paper. The decorative corners are using my memory box corner die that I'm still obsessed with! The butterflies are made using the Martha Stewart 3in1 punch. I go the lacy rosettes from the same ebay seller as I get my rhinestones from, the small sparkly ones I like to use in the centre of my flowers! The large rhinestones used on the lace were from WOC. Sky Lynn was coloured with copcis, but yet again havn't written down the colours I used1 I know her hair was using  N1, N3, N5, N7, N9 and a touch of 100. I'm thinking the red was R59, R37, R35.

Thanks fior stopping by, hope you love Sky Lynn as much as I do!

Lexie's on Her Naughty Chair!

Back with another Lacy Sunshine Gnome! Love these digi's so much! You can find them all in Heathers shop, the only legal place to buy them!

Lexie is always being naughty in our Lacy Sunshine facebook group so it was only right that Heather made her a digi of her on her naughty chair that shes permanently glued to!! lol

Lexie was coloured with copics and cut out using xcut large plain and scalloped rectangles. Bazzil card and papers were all from my stash. As are the gems, flowers, ribbon and the centres used for the flowers, (which is like a circle of gems linked together). I typed up the sentiment in Word which say 'Ooooops', 'Put Me On The Naughty Chair' and inside the card it reads 'Sorry I Forgot!'

Copics used :-

E000, E00, E11
R81, R83, R85
BV00, BV01, BV02

Lovely Larry!

On a roll this week! Here's another of the new fabilicious gnomes from Heather Valentin over at Lacy Sunshine!

Meet Lovely Larry!

The 1st of my 2 Lovely Larry's is a general 'Just For You' card. Larry was coloured with copics and I fussy cut him out. Papers, card, ribbon and gems were all from my stash. The sunflowers were die cuts (I think they are Joy Crafts) and the leaves are spellies dies. I added orange gems to the centre of the sunflower and dazzling rhinestones to the centre of the die cut sunflowers. I added a charm under the sentiment which was cut using spellies lacy circles die.

Larry number 2!! A new home card.

I typed up the sentiment in Word 'No Place Like Gnome'. The papers and bazzill card are all from stash. I used bronze fine glitter for the centre of Larry's large sunflower, it doesn't show up very well on the piccy but looks fab IRL.

I used the die cut flowers again for the sunflowers and added the rhinestone flatbacks to the centre. I used a piece of ribbon out of my scraps box and added a flower linking charm (can't think if the proper name, has a loop at each end of the flower!) I used spellies standard circles to cut out the circle layer and the smallest of the xcut lareg oval scalloped dies to cut the sentiment out.     As usual I have put my list of copics used somewhere safe! As soon as I put my hands on them I will update the post!

There you go! Hope you like Larry as much as I do.

Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to read my posts. I really do appreciate it xx

Winnie Watermelon

I'm back with another fab Lacy Sunshine digi by the fab Heather Valentin. Winnie watermelon is from the Flower Pot Pretties range of stamps, and Lacy Sunshine is the only place you can legitimately buy her images.

The papers are digi paper from Shery K's website, the watermelon set. I coloured Winnie with copics. The sentiment was typed in word and printed off, you can't see it that well in the piccy but it says 'Have A Sweet Birthday'. I used my usual gems and pearls and martha stewart 3 in 1 butterfly punch also. The big flower was from an embellishment set I got from poundland, must be nearly 18 months ago! Also used bazzil card stock and spellies lacy circles die.

Not very happy with this pic to be honest, I must have taken 15 pics of this card so far and just can't get it looking like I want to. I will update it later if I manage to get a better one!

Copics used :- E000, E00, E11, E55, E57, E59, G12, G14, G16, YG01, YG03, YG05, RV21, RV23, RV25, RV29, G03, G05

I have used a general With Love sentiment so it can be used as a birthday card or a 'Hello' card or even a get well card. Also used xcut large ovals, plain and scalloped to cut the image out and matt her. And my cards wouldn't be my cards without adding some pearls and gems!! lol

Snowdrop - Flower Pot Pretties

I'm back with another Lacy Sunshine digi from Heathers new range of Flower Pot Pretties!! They are soooooooo cute!! Snowdrop is one of my faves, but its hard to choose between them all!

You can find Heathers Digi Stamps in her Lacy Sunshine Shop, the only legitimate place to buy Heathers digi's, anybody else selling them is doing so illegally!

Here is Snowdrop!

I decided to use Snowdrop to make a birthday card for someone with a winter birthday rather than the obvious Christmas card. I have an Aunty who's birthday is on Boxing Day and she will love this!

The bazzil pink card and the blue glitter card are all from my stash, the flowers are from WOC and I have used a memory Box corner die (I'm a bit obsessed with this die at the minute! Seem to be using it an awful lot!) I also added Decoart Crystal glitter to the snowdrops and the snow that is resting on the bucket. I typed the 'Warm Birthday Wishes' sentiment up in word and used spellies plain circles and lacy circles dies. The image was coloured with copics. I cut the actual image out with xcut nesting oval large dies and then used distress inks, bundled sage and tumbled glass, to lightly colour around the image.

Copics used:- E000, E00, E11, E13, E15, E17, E19, B0000, B00, B01, R81, R83, R85, C1, C3, C5, YG05, YG07

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you love Snowdrop as much as I do!

My other colour is Purple.

I used copics to colour Medusa and the papers and ribbon and sparkler we're all from my stash. I did write the colours I used down but have put the scrap of card I used down somewhere so will add them when I discover where the 'safe place' is!
